Three people shot at 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Kandi Burruss' restaurant on Valentine's Day
Three people have been injured in a shooting episode at Old Lady Gang, a restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia. It's owned by 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker.
East Police Point said the suspect walked into the restaurant, shot his target and two others standing close by. The cops have confirmed none of the victims shot were in life-threatening conditions, 11 alive reported. The search for the shooter is still on.
One of the witnesses, who were stationed at a nearby restaurant watched the episode unfold. "I was real quiet at first then I heard the scream and I saw the guy run out. I was just worried about my safety," she said. "I didn't know who he was going for, what was on his mind. I was worried about my safety. I was trying to get out of there," she told CBS46. Meanwhile, her other friend was queueing up for dinner when the shooting took place.
Old Lady Gang serves Southern cuisine and is located at East Point. The restaurant was named after Burruss' mother and her two aunts.
Even though this is a situation that will keep Burruss occupied for a little while, she has a lot to worry about with regard to her status on the show - 'RHOA.' According to RadarOnline, the reality TV star is worried she'll be asked to leave the show because that is what is happening with most OG cast members.
"She is worried that her time on 'RHOA' is coming to an end,” an insider added that she recently “pitched a spinoff show about her growing family and her businesses. Mama Joyce, Todd [Tucker] and her manager, Don Juan, are all on board."
