2020 US Open: How to live stream, time, venue, 1st-round schedule and all the pre-buzz around tennis championship

Despite the Western & Southern Open drawing to a close, tennis fans have a lot to look forward to as the 140th US Open is slated to start August 31. With all the safety and health protocols strictly being followed, there will be a different feel to the tournament. For starters, it will be a no-attendance zone as fans will not be allowed to enter the venue. Adding to it is the absence of some of the world's top players after COVID-19 concerns saw them opt out of the Open.
Defending champ, Rafael Nadal, Biance Andresscu, Ashleigh Barty, and Simona Halep are some of the big names missing the US Open, while Roger Federer is out due to a knee injury. However, it isn't completely devoid of stars as Daniil Medvedev, Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams, and Naomi Osaka are set to play. Here's a quick primer ahead of the start of the tournament.
Time
The play starts at 10 am ET on August 31, 2020.
Venue
The US Open is all set to happen at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Pre-match buzz:
With the absence of Nadal, the focus is on Djokovic to walk away with the title. Despite the sore neck, he breezed past his opponents in the W&S Open and is a favorite to win the tournament. Murray drew a stiff challenge against Nishioka and that will be one of the mouth-watering clashes to look forward to. The Williams sisters along with Osaka and Pliskova will be the ones to look forward to in the women's category.
