With the 2020 UEFA Nations League set to start again from November 14. the ongoing Premier League and the Champions League will take the backseat as the players will link up with their respective national teams to resume the tournament that began on September 8, 2020. In a way, it is the start of what is a grueling schedule as the Premier League restarts again on November 21 with Chelsea taking on Newcastle.

Here's a quick look at the fixures on November 21:

Newcastle United v Chelsea

Aston Villa v Brighton & Hove Albion

Burnley v Crystal Palace

Fulham v Everton

Liverpool v Leicester City

Manchester United v West Bromwich Albion

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Southampton

Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City

The weekend promises exciting clashes with defending champions Liverpool taking on a resurgent Leicester while the Spurs take on Pep Guardiola's wobbly Manchester City. For Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's United, this is a chance to get their campaign back on track as they face off against West Brom. The following day will see a struggling Arsenal take on Leeds United while Sheffield United lock horns with West Ham. As of last weekend, Leicester City is table-toppers with six wins in their eight games.

Tottenham Hotspur is placed second with five wins in their eight games while Liverpool after a drawn encounter against City is in third place. Southampton and Chelsea complete the Top five at the moment. For the other members of the big six, the journey so far has been mixed and disappointing. Arsenal has been an inconsistent lot and their 3-0 loss to Aston Villa has seen them take 11th place, while Manchester City at ten has blown hot and cold.

It has been a roller-coaster ride for Manchester United so far as they had a brilliant start in the Champions League winning games against Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig, only to lose to minnows Istanbul Basaksehir. Their Premier League journey has seen them struggle to break into the top 10 with just three wins from seven games. They have Bruno Fernandes and Edinson Cavani to thank for after the duo notched up a win for the Red Devils against a fiercely-competitive Everon outfit.

Hopefully, there will be a reversal of fortunes for the struggling sides when the Premier League restarts on November 21. Premier League games can be watched live on NBCSN and Peacock Premium.
