12-year-old schoolgirl gangraped by her brothers and uncle before being strangled and beheaded by her aunt

Law enforcement in Madhya Pradesh, India, reported a 12-year-old girl was strangled and beheaded by her brothers and uncle after they collectively gang-raped her. The victim, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, had failed to return from school the previous day in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, when family members reported her missing, Daily Mail reports.
On March 14, authorities found her mutilated body and after investigation, were able to determine that she was raped by her brothers and uncle before being strangled to death and beheaded by her aunt. The disturbing attack is the latest in an unending list of sex abuse crimes that have hit the country in the past decade.
