Still inseparable! 101-year-old Kirk Douglas spotted enjoying a rare outing with wife Anne, 99, in LA
101-year-old Kirk Douglas and 99-year-old wife Anne Buydens were out with their carers on a beautiful sunny day in LA
Together, they have a combined age of 200, and yet there is nothing keeping Kirk Douglas and his wife Anne Buydens apart. The 101-year-old Hollywood star known for films such as 'Spartacus', 'The Vikings' and 'Lust for Life' was most recently spotted enjoying an outing with his wife of 64 years in Los Angeles.
Kirk, the father of 'Ant-Man' actor Michael Douglas, was dressed in smart black and white for the occasion while his wife, 99-year-old Anne, sported a chic long-sleeved green sweater complete with a grey cover. Despite their age, the Hollywood couple looked sprightly as they spent the day out with their carers helping them move around in their wheelchairs.

The rare and incredibly sweet couple has remained nearly inseparable since tying the knot almost six decades ago in 1954 — just a year before Kirk stirred waves for his performance as painter Vincent van Gogh in 'Lust for Life'. Before his marriage to Anne, though, the actor was married to Diana Dill — the mother of Michael and Joel Douglas — until 1951.
Come December, Kirk will be ringing in his 102nd birthday, a number that hardly keeps him from being fit and active.
"He still has a trainer. He works out with a trainer at 101," his son Michael told Lorraine Kelly. "I remember when Dad was 90 and he had a guy that he worked out with for more than 30 years, 40 years, Mike Abrams."
"I went to see Dad one day, he was 90 and wasn’t feeling so good," said the 'Falling Down' actor, who recently became a grandfather himself after his son Cameron Douglas welcomed daughter Lua. On a humorous note, Michael added: "I said, 'Dad, what’s wrong? You don’t look good.' He said, 'Ah, Mike died.' I said, 'Ah, Dad I’m so sorry. Mike died? How old was Mike, Dad?' '94'."
