LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: L6, also known as the Luntayao family, is a talented singing group from the Philippines consisting of five siblings and their niece. They gained initial recognition when they participated in the first season of 'The Voice Generations'. During their time on the show, they competed in the Battles but unfortunately lost to another group named VocalMyx, which led to their elimination from the competition.

Despite this setback, the Luntayao family did not give up on their dreams. They returned to the spotlight on 'America's Got Talent' (AGT) Season 19. In their audition for AGT, which was featured in an early release video, they performed Celine Dion's 'All By Myself'.

What happened at the auditions of L6 on 'AGT'?

The audition of the Filipino group took an unexpected turn when judge Simon Cowell interrupted their performance due to dissatisfaction with the backing track. Simon suggested they perform the song a cappella, believing it would better showcase their talent.

L6 followed Simon's advice and restarted their performance without any music accompaniment. Their rendition impressed both the judges and the audience, earning them a standing ovation and four "yes" votes from the judges, propelling them to the next round of the competition.

Fans and viewers have applauded L6 for being good sports and their ability to bounce back after their previous experience on 'The Voice Generations'.

The 2024 Summer Olympics will impact 'AGT' Season 19 schedule

The airing of 'America's Got Talent' (AGT) shows is likely to be affected by the 2024 Summer Olympics and its preceding Olympic Trials. NBC's extensive coverage of these events typically results in changes to AGT's regular schedule.

During the Olympic Trials and the main Olympic Games, NBC prioritizes broadcasting various sporting events, which can lead to interruptions or adjustments in the show's airing schedule. This often results in AGT going on hiatus or having its episodes rescheduled to accommodate the Olympics' broadcast needs.

Once the Olympic Games conclude, AGT usually resumes its regular programming schedule, continuing with live shows, results episodes, and the competition as planned.
