The star of the Netflix series 'Wednesday', Jenna Ortega, seems to have always displayed traits of a "weirdo." During an Autocomplete Interview with Wired on YouTube, Ortega discusses the formation of a close relationship with her 'Fallout' co-star Maddie Zieglar and shares a peculiar act she used to perform when she was younger.

"She's one of my greatest friends ever. She was somebody that I instantly clicked with. We did a movie called 'The Fallout' a couple years back, and I feel like Maddie and I are the same person in different fonts," Ortega stated. "She's such a weirdo and I'm a weirdo in the way I used to perform autopsies on little animals when I was younger." Ortega describes her personality in more detail and also mentions what makes Zieglar's persona eccentric. "Little lizards that I found that were dead in my backyard. She's a weirdo in the sense that she breaks out into characters or movements or makes faces," Ortega stated. "Her comedic timing is so underappreciated. She makes me laugh. We have a good time. We're really weird together."

Several Twitter users appreciated Ortega for being honest about her weird side, and one fan appreciating that quality wrote, "I love that Jenna Ortega is building her brand as a weird little freak." A second individual gushing over Ortega wrote, "Jenna ortega seems like the weird girl at a party that would randomly do weird shit and throw food at me and tbh that’s why i have a crush on her."

One user said, "gosh i'm so happy jenna ortega is weird." Another person wrote, "Jenna Ortega is the only hot person who is telling the TRUTH when they say 'I'm kinda weird'. You couldn't pay me to admit to cutting up dead animals." A fourth fan said of Ortega's quirkiness, "Seriously loving jenna ortega's weird lil bjork b***h era."

Ortega admitted that she can be a touch crazy during an interview on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'. The 'You' actress discussed working with Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday Addams in the 1991 film 'The Addams Family' and its 1993 sequel.

Ortega said, "I feel like I personally made it a little weird. She was really sweet about it. Me? It was one of the most awkward experiences I've ever had. I think, socially, I can be kind of hard to communicate with at times. And sometimes I would say something as a joke, and I think I have a very dark sense of humor, and she would go, 'Uh, that's dark'." 'Wednesday', which also features Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Fred Armisen, and Isaac Ordonez, is now available to stream on Netflix.
