This modern development project turned filming hotspot offers a water theme park, bustling commercial street, and picturesque Marina Beach - the perfect backdrop for the show's high-stakes competition. Forest City has become a go-to location for international productions, including Germany's ProSieben TV, South Korea's KBSTV, and Austria's sci-fi documentary 'Hungry: Tipping the Scales'.

According to the Straits Times, local Malaysian productions have also made the most of the city's unique environment. The filming of 'The Mole' in Forest City involved five months of meticulous planning and eight days of intense shooting, featuring extreme stunts and diverse locations. This season promises to be the most thrilling yet!

Mark your calendars as the premiere of 'The Mole' Season 2 is on Netflix on June 28, 2024.  Notably, Ari Shapiro takes the reins as the new host, guiding 12 contestants through a series of heart-pumping challenges and mind-bending puzzles.

What is 'The Mole' all about?

'The Mole' is a reality competition show where twelve contestants work together to complete tasks and earn money for a collective prize pot. However, one of these contestants is secretly the Mole, whose mission is to sabotage the group's efforts without being detected.

Throughout the game, contestants try to figure out who the Mole is while completing challenges. Every few days, players take a multiple-choice test about the Mole's identity and actions. The contestant with the lowest score on this test is eliminated from the game. This process continues until three players remain: two genuine contestants and the Mole.

These final players take one last test to determine who has correctly identified the Mole throughout the season. The contestant who knows the most about the Mole's identity and actions wins the prize pot.
