'The Acolyte' Episode 2 opens with Mae attempting to confront Master Torbin (Dean-Charles Chapman), but her efforts prove futile. Despite Mae's efforts, Torbin remains in a meditative state, effortlessly repelling her without even moving a muscle.

Later, it is revealed that Mae has been tasked by an unnamed master to target Indara, Torbin, Kelnacca, and Sol.

Sol remains unconvinced that Osha is responsible for the death of Indara (Carrie-Anne Moss). With Torbin now being attacked while Osha is in custody, there is evidence supporting Sol's belief.

Mae finds an ally in Qimir (Manny Jacinto), whom the Master and Osha eventually reach. They make every effort to understand who trained Mae, but even as the Master delves into Mae's mind, they come up empty-handed. Mae manages to escape to a Wookie Jedi base alongside Qimir.
