Netflix is gearing up for its latest Nigerian release 'Postcards'. Produced and directed by Hamisha Daryani Ahuja, the series is about an external journey from Nigeria to India, and an internal journey of self-acceptance. 

'Postcards' adds to the already impressive list of Nigerian content on Netflix and this time it has something for both Nigerian and Indian viewers with both countries featured prominently in the series. 

Hamisha Daryani Ahuja has previously produced the movie 'Namaste Wahala' which also showcased India and Nigeria prominently. 

What is the plot of 'Postcards'?

'Postcards' is a series about four individuals going through a wide spectrum of emotions. The series tells the story of four Nigerians in India and their journey towards self-acceptance. 

It is about coming face to face with human fears and desires and embarking on a journey of discovering love and the inner world of a human being. 

The official synopsis of the series reads, "When a Nigerian single mother travels to India for a medical checkup, her journey will end up touching the lives of everyone she meets."

Richard Mofe-Damijo aka RMD, is a popular Nigerian actor, writer, and politician who has been recognized for his work in Nigerian cinema. He won the Africa Movie Academy Award in 2005.

His first prominent role as an actor came in 'Ripples' which was a soap opera where he played the role of a policeman but he gained fame for his portrayal of a villain in the soap, 'Checkmate'. He played the character of Segun Kadiri. 

The man who started his career being a journalist has won multiple awards for his performances including the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 12th Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Sola Sobowale is a prominent film producer, director, and actor who became popular after her big break in 'Super Story: Oh Father, Oh Daughter', a popular TV show.
