'Mama June: Family Crisis’: Lauryn says she loves her mom June 'to death' but wants to 'slap her in the face'
Lauryn Thompson has expressed her anger at her mother June Shannon's shortcomings, who was arrested last year for possession of drugs.
The 21-year-old, popularly known as Pumpkin, said: “I love her to death, I really do, and I would do anything for her, but at this point, I want to slap her in the face too.”
June was arrested along with her boyfriend Geno Doak in March 2019 for possessing crack cocaine, needles, a crack pipe, and a bong near a gas station in Alabama. Both were taken into custody on the charge of felony possession of a controlled substance, along with the possession of drug paraphernalia.
The statement from Pumpkin came on this week's episode of ‘Mama June: Family Crisis’ that airs on WeTV. In the same episode, Alana, the youngest daughter of Mama June, revealed that she misses her troubled mama and doing simple things in life with her. The 14-year-old star of 'Toddlers and Tiaras' also explained that she misses "the mama that used to go grocery shopping with us," after her mom's arrest in 2019.
Alana, who is also known as Honey Boo Boo, also revealed that she was hurt by her mother not getting in touch and then saying on social media that she missed Tink, but not saying anything about missing her.
After this, her elder sister Lauryn with whom the teen is currently living also joined her on the show and said: “Or the one that used to go to the arcade with us. I hope that she sees us doing better for ourselves and that maybe she’ll want better for herself too.”
“Maybe that can inspire her or make her be like, ‘the girls are doing good, maybe I should be there.’ Try and be back in our lives and be there for the important stuff like this,” she added.
Meanwhile, MEA Worldwide (MEAWW) previously reported that the 40-year-old’s eldest daughter Anna Cardwell has been working at Walmart. She reportedly revealed the news on her Instagram account sharing it with her 185k followers in a post as she captioned it: “When ur ready to leave from counting people all day #walmart #lovemyjob."
This news comes after reports claimed that the 25-year-old had gone through a plastic surgery makeover. She had previously shared her photos online after her $111k plastic surgery makeover. She took to Instagram to share her story of body transformation.
Through her social media post, Anna revealed the details of the procedure to her fans and followers and said she got a boob job and veneers. In her post, she thanked the doctors who helped her get the body of her dreams as she wrote: “Finally I get to share photos of my makeover journey and introduce you to all the great doctors and beauty professionals who worked on me to make me beautimous!! Please follow them all they changed my life!”
She got a lot of compliments for her transformation as one person commented: “I'm so glad you are finally getting the good things you deserve!!” Another one wrote: “So pretty!! You were just as pretty before too!”
