LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lenny Kravitz went down the memory lane during his recent interview. The ‘Low’ crooner, while talking with Esquire, said that he still keeps in touch with his popular high school classmates.

Kravitz went to Beverly Hills High School in the late 1970s with Nicolas Cage, Gina Gershon, and guitarist Saul Hudson aka Slash.

Answering the interviewer's query, the 59-year-old replied, “I do.” "I just saw Slash, who I went to high school with. And Gina Gershon,” he said.

Talking about Nicolas Cage in particular, the ‘Fly Away’ singer said, “His name was Nic Coppola at that time,” recalled Kravitz, adding “And I remember doing a play with him.”

It was Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II's Oklahoma! was that school play, to be precise he added. “I was in the orchestra and Nic was on stage… He was singing and dancing and acting and I was playing drums. It was a good time," he continued.

Nicholas changed his name to stay away from the shadow of his uncle and legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola.

Meanwhile, Kravitz also comes from a creative background. Born in New York City to TV news producer Sy Kravitz and 'The Jeffersons' actress Roxie Roker, he decided to excel in playing instruments, such as piano, bass, and drums, and moved to LA at the age of 10.

He commented on the ‘NSFW’ clip, “just going for it. I feel good mentally, spiritually, physically. And anyway, when you see the video, you’ll understand.”

During a recent ‘Today’ episode, weather reporter Al Roker took to his Instagram to share a music video from Lenny Kravitz, his cousin. The video begins with Kravitz depicted waking up in the nude.
