On May 21, 2024, Netflix released the new trailer for the upcoming South Korean reality show 'Agents of Mystery' on X with the caption, "They might scream a lot, but they’ll get the job done."



 

The trailer previewed six agents coming together in a unique and intriguing location to tackle complex and unusual cases.

Directed by Jung Jong-yeon, known for popular shows like 'The Devil's Plan', 'The Great Escape', 'Society Game', and 'The Genius: Rules of the Game', the upcoming reality series promises engaging and intriguing content.

'Agents of Mystery' will have plenty of brain games that will need to be solved by the collaborative efforts of six agents.

According to Netflix, the official synopsis for the upcoming Korean reality show reads, "Six "agents of mystery" with excellent chemistry probe into bizarre incidents that cannot be explained by science in creative and unique ways."

Who stars in 'Agents of Mystery'?

Lee Yong-jin

Lee Yong-jin, well-known for his role on the tvN sketch program 'Comedy Big League', is also a successful comedian and singer.

He owns a sashimi restaurant located in Sokcho, Gangwon-do province. His television appearances span a variety of shows, including 'Kkondae Intern', 'Rich Family's Son', 'Angry Mom', 'Unexpected', 'Hook and Say', and 'Dilemma Game'.

John Park

John Park, a Korean-American artist, gained recognition as a semi-finalist on 'American Idol' and achieved second place on 'Superstar k2' in 2010.

He is a seasoned artist known for his regular appearances on various variety shows, including 'The Genius Paik Season 2', 'The Time Hotel', 'The Genius Paik', 'Begin Again season 5: Intermission', and as one of the main hosts for 'Love After Divorce: Birth of a Family'.

Lee Eun-ji

The South Korean comedian Lee Eun-jin has been ruling the world of variety shows for seven years.

She is famous for many programs, including Real Dating Lab: Poisoned Apple, Watcha Up to, Play King, Miss Trot season 3, Comedy Royale, and others. She was also honored with the 2023 Baeksang Arts Awards for Best Variety Performer.

Lee Eun-ji will bring some comic relief with her cheerful personality to the 'Agents of Mystery'.
