One of the most anticipated movies of the year, 'Bombshell' is making headlines for all the good reasons. The film is based on a revealing look inside the most powerful and controversial media empire of all time and the explosive story of the women who brought down the infamous man who created it.

When a group of women decides to bring down Roger Ailes, there's literally no stopping these ladies, and all they deserve is more power to themselves.

On that note, MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) had a chat with actress Alanna Ubach who plays Judge Jeanine Pirro in this film. Alanna says that it is such a poignant reflection of the times we're living in and you walk away thinking, "Wow, if there's dysfunction of the workplace, I can stand up for myself.  I can actually speak up and I will have support."

This film deals with extremely intense themes, especially because it is a real-life story. Alanna says, "It took this generation of women to actually have the courage to come forward and say, 'this isn't right, this should never happen again'. Someone like Jeanine Pirro is from another generation that says not to bite the hand that feeds you."

Alana goes on to describe her character as she says, "She is a woman who believes that you should respect and be loyal to the man that made them rich and famous. So her mindset is different than the rest of the girls." Since it is all in tangent with our current culture, this film is going to explore all that.

When it comes to physical transformations, on Alanna turning into Jeanine, she says, "That was nothing compared to Charlize Theron's Megyn Kelly. They were putting 15 prosthetics on the face. When I first met her, I thought, 'well Charlize Theron stand-in, what a beautiful woman. Then I was like Oh my God, that's Charlize!' It was wild."

On taking over the role, Alanna says that she did not know who the real Jeanine Pirro is and the kind of a person she is behind closed doors. She says, "It was all so hard to find because there's absolutely no footage of her. She's not in a documentary, neither is she on Charlie Rose or Barbara Walters or anything. She is the interviewer half of the time. So, I finally came across a good old TMZ footage of her walking to her terminal in the airport and one of those kids was bothering her with a camera right in her face. [...] with her witty remarks she said, 'I think she should stick to singing'. And then she turned her back to him like don't mess with me!"

Alanna feels that Jeanine is "[...] tough, committed, she was in her full face of makeup and in like this cute little tight dress and she was all by herself. I thought this is a very interesting woman."
