Where is Bianca Butti? Amber Heard's girlfriend has been a no-show at trial
Amber Heard's girlfriend Bianca Butti is nowhere to be seen amid the ongoing defamation trial between the 'Aquaman' star and her ex-husband Johnny Depp. Heard, 35, and Depp, 58, have been embroiled in a legal battle in recent weeks, with each day bringing a barrage of new allegations.
The Virginia-based trial will determine if a 2018 op-ed penned by Heard — in which she claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse and sexual violence — defamed Depp. The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star has vehemently denied allegations of abusing Heard as he seeks at least $50 million in compensatory damages and a punitive award of at least $350,000, along with attorneys' fees and court costs.

Where is Bianca Butti?
Butti, a Los Angeles-based cinematographer, is Heard's last known lover. Reports emerged in December, however, that they are no longer a couple. Butti and Heard are said to have dated for nearly two years after beginning their relationship in January 2020. "They started as friends and it turned into something more," a source told Us Weekly at the time.
Butti was Heard's first serious partner since her divorce from Depp in 2016. The 'Never Back Down' star briefly dated Tesla CEO Elon Musk in 2018 but they eventually parted ways. According to celebrity journalist Nicki Swift, the actress was also rumored to have dated director Andy Muschietti a year later. That said, Heard mostly kept her relationship with Butti under wraps, despite having been photographed together on several occasions. The duo is said to have socially distanced together in 2020 when Heard shared a clip on Instagram where Butti was heard talking in the background.

Heard welcomed a baby girl via surrogate in April last year. A source close to the actress told The Mirror's Sunday Showbiz that taking care of the baby while simultaneously filming "Aquaman 2" in the UK had made her a "very busy woman." The insider said Butti, in the meantime, was "tied up with various projects in the US" and so the two had been spending months apart and living on different continents, which caused the relationship to fizzle out. "With not being in the same country for months at a time and dealing with a new baby, it leaves very little time for romance," the source added.
As mentioned, Butti has been snapped with Heard several times, including when they vacationed on the west coast and were spotted laughing and cuddling inside the 'Aquaman' actress' 1968 Mustang. In January 2020, the two attended the Women’s March in Los Angeles and were seen holding hands again the following month at the WME Pre-Oscar Party in Los Angeles.
The 38-year-old cinematographer is known for her work on 'Hank and Asha' (2013), '6 Souls' (2010), and 'The Proprietor' (2013). She also worked on the hit VH1 series 'Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta' and a variety of films, including 'Eyes on the Moon' and 'An American In Texas'. A set decorator, she even runs her own production company, Red Ink On Film.
Butti has been battling cancer for a long time now and took to Instagram in June 2019 to post about her struggle after being diagnosed for the second time. "I lived cancer-free up until about 2 months ago. Unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with breast cancer once again. Same breast. New tumor," she wrote. Butti's friends later set up a GoFundMe page to help her cover related medical expenses. While reports claim the two have broken up, which would explain why Butti is not present at the trial, neither of them have officially confirmed that they have split up.
