LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fans of 'American Idol' Season 22 expressed frustration and anger towards the judges for what they perceived as a wrong decision in choosing Jordan over Ajii. Many fans believed that Ajii was more deserving of a spot in the top 14 of the competition than Jordan. They erupted in anger on social media platforms, criticizing the judges for their choice and questioning the fairness of the decision-making process.

Some fans argued that Ajii's performances showcased more talent and energy, making him a stronger contender for the competition. "Jordan over Ajii???" said a user. "I can’t believe Ajii didn’t make it through on #AmericanIdol. So lame!," said another. "@LionelRichie - you guys messed up letting Ajii go!!!!!! Wrong answer," added another. 



 



 



 

Disappointed fans said how Ajii's elimination sent shock waves to entire America. "How did they NOT save Ajii!?!?!?," added one user. "those results were f*** awful. This show has actually went down hill. Karaoke singers, beauty pageant singers, and a good old tailgate. They had FOUR spots and didn't put Ajii through. They couldn't stand to see another favorite shock the country," added another. "Ajii could have one it all, f**** yall America," said one. 



 



 



 

Luke Bryan asks Ajii to not 'yell' too much 

Luke Bryan appreciated Ajii's high energy on stage but cautioned him not to overdo it with too much yelling. As Lionel Richie affectionately referred to Ajii as "Mr. Feelgood," praising his ability to uplift the audience, Katy Perry admired Ajii's song choices and how he pushes his vocals in each performance.

Luke commented, "There was a lot of energy. Great job," quickly adding, "Don't get too yelly." In his last performance, the 27-year-old from Brooklyn, New York sang "Like a Stone" by Audioslave, rocking out with powerful vocals.

Ajii wanted to make his father proud 

Ahead of his elimination, Ajii expressed his desire to make his father proud, emphasizing that pursuing his dream on American Idol wa not just his own aspiration but also his father's. He highlighted his father's dedication to supporting the family, noting that despite his busy work schedule, his father has been cheering for him from afar.

Ajii reflected on his father's sacrifices and hard work, acknowledging that his father's presence on the show is limited due to his commitments but emphasizing his unwavering support and encouragement. "He's taking care of the family, so he hasn't had time to get off his job to come to 'American Idol' but he's rooting," he said.

'American Idol' Season 22 airs on Sundays and Mondays at 8 pm ET on ABC.
