'Agents of SHIELD' Season 7 Finale Promo: Daisy vs Nathaniel 'Quake Off' has fans hyped up for final episodes
'Agents of SHIELD' Season 7 is all set for the two-part series finale, Episode 12 'The End Is at Hand' and Episode 13 'What We're Fighting For'. A promo for the upcoming finale was released at the end of Episode 10 'Brand New Day' and fans are really excited.
In Episode 10, Nathaniel Malick (Thomas E Sullivan) summoned the Chronicom war fleet and had them destroy all SHIELD bases on Earth. It looks like the team has already lost, so now the challenge will be to avenge the Earth and somehow save the day, against all odds. The promo teased a battle between Nathaniel and Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) and honestly, that's what we're all most excited to see. This moment has been in the making since Nathaniel stole Daisy's Quake powers and fans on Reddit are already hyped up about the battle to come.
"THAT DAISY NATHANIEL FIGHT IS GONNA BE SO AWESOME HOLY S**T," one fan wrote. "Also I’m getting Spy’s Goodbye vibes from the beginning part so I’m going to have a couple more boxes of tissues by my side."
"THAT QUAKE OFF IS GONNA BE AMAZING," another fan declared. "I haven’t seen this much hype for a fight since the Daisy vs Ruby promo," yet another fan noted.
Of course, not everyone is pleased with the promo. Some of the fans are quite disappointed that there's no hint of a greater connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the promo. "It would be nice to get a hint that some big things are going to happen... but honestly it’s feeling like everything to do with either Fitz or the MCU will be minimal to nothing," one fan wrote. Another fan responded writing, "Yep, not connecting to movies that never cared about the show, and maybe a little less of one character definitely means the finale won’t be great."
However, the vast majority of fans seem to be thrilled about the series finale and especially about the Daisy vs Nathaniel showdown. As one fan put it, "We’re in the endgame now."
'Agents of SHIELD' will air its series finale on August 12 at 9 pm ET on ABC.
