Zachariah Anderson: Murder suspect stalked ex Sadie Beacham for weeks before killing her lover Rosalio Gutierrez Jr
KENOSHA, WISCONSIN: New details have emerged in the trial of suspected killer Zachariah Anderson on Thursday, March 16, 2023, that shed light on how he stalked his ex-girlfriend Sadie Beacham for weeks before killing her partner Rosalio Gutierrez Jr. Investigators said that Anderson put a burner phone in Beacham's car and a GPS tracker to watch and listen to the couple.
According to Law&Crime, on the 12th day of Anderson's trial, Detective Vicente Correa, one of the state’s witnesses, said that several text messages were exchanged between Anderson and Beachum in the week before the victim’s death, who disappeared in May 2020 and whose body has never been found. Authorities also confirmed that detectives found Gutierrez Jr’s blood in Anderson’s van, and cadaver dogs found pieces of clothing and a bleach bottle in a burn pit on his property.

Who was Rosalio Gutierrez Jr?
Born on April 10, 1980, the late 40-year-old, who was also known as Junior or Pocho, was a father of two -- Julian and Ava Gutierrez -- from Kenosha, Wisconsin, as per The Sun. Gutierrez Jr studied Criminal Justice/Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. As per Opoyi, he worked for several companies, including the State Public Defender, A Plus Quality Construction, and Tranquility Property Group.
His mother Selia Patterson described him as "the best son a mom could ever wish for," "a loving father," "and a very good friend." She told NBC News in 2020, “He always had me cracking up. He was a very wonderful person. Most of all, he was a good human being and needed to be on this earth much longer than when he was taken.”
What happened to Rosalio Gutierrez Jr?
Gutierrez Jr was last seen on May 17, 2020, and was reported missing on May 19, 2020, after his girlfriend Beacham went to his house in the 3700 block of 15th Street, and found the patio door open with "heavy blood stains on the floor, door, and furniture," states Kenosha News. Although the victim was not home, law enforcement found both of Gutierrez Jr's vehicles at his place.
The officials also confirmed there was blood “in many areas of the home” and a neighbor had told officers on scene that they heard “something happening” the evening of May 17, reports Law&Crime. As per The Sun, on May 20, 2020, Anderson was arrested in relation to Gutierrez Jr's disappearance.
Who is Zachariah Anderson?
Anderson, 42, who is standing trial in the murder of Gutierrez Jr, is from Mequon, Wisconsin, and has children with Beacham. According to The Sun, Anderson has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, a Class A felony that carries a sentence of life in prison if convicted. On March 13, 2023, Anderson's trial began after he pled not guilty to all of the charges.
