Sunday, July 12, night's episode of 'Worst Cooks in America' saw chef Anne Burrell taking a swipe at chef Alex Guarnaschelli. It so happened that chef Burrell was interrogating Dolores Aguilar-Fernandez, a contestant on her Rocking Red Stars team about heating an empty pan.

She said, "Have you ever seen me heat a pan without something on it?" to which chef Guarnaschelli replied, "Oh my God, I do that all the time, am I fired?". Chef Burrell in the very next moment responded, "Well, I'd never hire you anyway," shocking both Dolores and chef Guarnaschelli. This entire exchange was all in good fun but viewers who were tuned in to the episode want chef Guarnaschelli to get back at chef Burrell.

"#WorstCooks@guarnaschelli doesn't deserve that burn. LOL," wrote a fan. "#worstcooks WOW! That was a big F.O moment! C'mon @guarnaschelli you should have flipped @chefanneburrell off for that comment! Get her!!! @FoodNetwork," wrote another. A viewer, sure that Guarnaschelli would return the favor soon wrote, "Wow. Chef @chefanneburrell totally just burned Iron Chef @guarnaschelli. That was cold! Yes, I just mixed my metaphors but that just matches my mixed feelings. #ICAG will return fire at some point, though. And Chef Anne won't see it coming."

Some viewers were loving all the extra sass that Burrell brought to the episode. "@FoodNetwork Chef Anne is ON AND POPPIN tonight!!!! #worstcooks" wrote a viewer. Another shared, "wow Chef Anne, alone on the throne with the smack."

The current season of the show has been on the air for three weeks. The very first episode saw Chef Guanaschelli completely shocked and horrified with the dishes that were being created in the kitchen by the recruits. So much so that she thought it was all a joke and kept asking 'Worst Cooks' veteran mentor chef Burrell if what was happening was a joke. After a point, she realized it wasn't and was so traumatized that she said she needed to go home and call her therapist to check if she were free so she could walk in for a session.

Catch all the madness of this show that airs every Sunday at 9 pm ET only on Food Network.
