LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix's 'After' series, which is based on the widely popular book series of the same title by Anna Todd, has captivated viewers with its passionate yet turbulent romance.

Depicting the tale of two polar opposite lovers, the final chapter in the series 'After Everything', which debuted on September 13, 2023, is all set to drop on Netflix on 1 February.

However, with 'After Everything' releasing, fans are wondering if it's the end for Hardin Scott (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) and Tessa Young (Josephine Langford) on screen.

Is 'After Everything' the final movie in the 'After' series? Let's dive into what we know.

Regrettably, there won't be a 6th installment marking the end of the 'After' film series. 'After Everything' is confirmed as the fifth and final installment in the series.

This means that fans can anticipate the conclusion of Hardin and Tessa's love story in Netflix's upcoming movie.

Will Netflix's 'After' film series have a prequel?

Despite the conclusion of the 'After' film series, fans have something to look forward to with both a prequel and a sequel in the pipeline. The prequel, loosely based on Todd's bestselling novel 'Before' will delve into Hardin's early life before encountering Tessa.

Notably, Hero Fiennes Tiffin will not be reprising his role as Hardin in this film, and an official release date is yet to be disclosed.

On the other hand, the sequel will center around Hardin and Tessa's children, Emery and Auden, alongside their cousin Addy.

While Hardin and Tessa will make appearances as supporting characters, Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford will not be returning to their original roles.

As of now, no release date has been announced for the sequel. The platform for the prequel and sequel's release, whether on Netflix or another platform, remains uncertain. But do keep a lookout for more updates on MEAWW!
