Who was Brianna Long? Suspect at large after fatally shooting 21-year-old student as she finished her shift at a Georgia bar

VALDOSTA, GEORGIA: Brianna Long, who studied dental hygiene at Valdosta State University, was shot to death after she finished her work at a Remerton bar.
According to Georgia authorities, Long was finishing up her shift at 2.30 am on Sunday, October 29, at The Pier where she worked as a bartender.
In a press release issued by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Long was hit during a shooting outside The Pier, reports People.
Who is the suspect in Brianna Long's fatal shooting?
The identity of the suspect remains unclear and no one has been arrested or charged in connection with Long's death.
The shooting began following an apparent altercation outside the bar while the victim was inside the bar, according to the GBI.
During the incident, many patrons were outside the bar and several vehicles were also shot.
Following the shooting, Long was transported to a South Georgia Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead.
"This case is active and ongoing. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the GBI Thomasville Office at 229-225-4090 or the Remerton Police Department at 229-247-2320," said the GBI urging people to contact them if they have information about the suspect," the GBI stated.

Dear ones pay tribute to Brianna Long
Long, who graduated in 2020 from Paulding County High, was a soccer player and was also named a regional winner for Positive Athlete Georgia the same year.
"Our hearts are broken over the senseless loss of Brianna Long. We are keeping her family and friends in our thoughts and prayers," read Valdosta University's tribute to Long who is from Dallas, Texas.

In an emotional Facebook post, Jordan Billups, defensive back for the Valdosta State Blazers and a close friend of Long wrote, "Wish this was all a dream right now as I’m typing this."
"Some things in life you don’t understand and this one I don’t, but I know God makes no mistakes. One moment of you texting me 'good luck' before the game then the next hearing you aren’t here with us anymore," Billups added.
"This one hurts! Brianna Long, when we got to Valdosta you were one of my first friends and became my best friend!," continued Billups.
"You were the most kind, sweet, smart, fun person to be around and I will always hold the memories we’ve made dear to my heart. I love you forever and always until we meet again," he concluded the post.
