OXFORD, UNITED KINGDOM: 'Maxton Hall - The World Between Us' is about a studious and focused Ruby Bell (Harriet Herbig-Matten) who falls in love with an elitist and arrogant James Beaufort (Damian Hardung) 

'Maxton Hall - The World Between Us' is streaming on Prime Video from May 9, 2024, and it stars many young actors along with some experienced veterans. The story is based in a school so it has many young actors playing character roles besides the leads of the film Ruby and James. 

The story is about Ruby Bell who is focused on getting into Oxford University but finds herself involved with the brash undeclared leader of the college James. They have a topsy-turvy journey before realizing their love for each other and finally accepting each other the way they are.

Harriet Herbig- Matten as Ruby Bell

Harriet Herbig-Matten plays the protagonist Ruby Bell. Still young in her career, she has already given some stellar performances and is popular for her performance in 'Teenosaurus Rex'.

Born in 2003 in Munich, she has already played a couple of lead roles. She performed the role of Tina in the movie 'Bibi & Tina' in 2020 and the sequel 'Bibi & Tina: Einfach Anders'. She got a major break in 'Sechs auf einen Streich - Das Märchen von der Zauberflöte' where she played the lead role. 

Her performance as Ruby Bell should elevate her as a mainstream actor. 

Damian Hardung as James Beaufort

Damian is a 25-year-old actor who plays the role of James Beaufort. The challenging role requires him to be an anti-hero and also the love interest of the protagonist Ruby Bell

After starring in films like 'The Most Beautiful Girl in the World' and the series 'Club der roten Bänder', Damian got his big break when he got the role of Daniel Riffert in the Netflix series 'How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)'

Damian is also committed to the social cause of saving the oceans. 

Sonja Weißer as Lydia Beaufort

Sonja Weißer gets her opportunity to play a prominent role as Lydia Beaufort in this series. She plays the twin sister of James Beaufort and is one of the major characters in the series. 

Sonja has featured in 'Innocent 2' (2023) where she played Sophie Gellert. She was also a part of 'Split Homicide' in 2024 where her role was called Danka. 

Andrea Guo as Lin Wang

Andrea Guo plays the role of Lin Wang in this series. She plays the role of a confidante to the protagonist Ruby Bell. She has an important role in supporting Ruby on her journey. 

Born in 2000 in Hollabrunn, Lower Austria, Austria, Andrea has previously played the role of Jess in 'The Swarm', Huyen in 'German Genius', and Loan in the TV series Hausen. 

Justus Riesner as Alistair Ellington

Justus Riesner plays an important role in the series of Alistair Ellington in the show. He plays the friend and confidante of James Beaufort and has a track of his own in the series as well. 

The talented actor has previously featured in the TV series 'Loving Her' where he played the role of Felix and featured in three episodes across the series.
