LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA:The official adaptation of the popular manga of the same name, titled, 'City Hunter' is set to make its streaming debut on Netflix.

The film, directed by Sato Yuichi, is set in Tokyo, where a talented marksman and hopeless playboy team up with his late partner's sister to unearth the truth behind his murder.

As intriguing as the plot may seem, the series is equally backed by a diverse group of actors who provide believability to the storyline.

Ryohei Suzuki, a Japanese actor, will portray Ryo Saeba in the film.

Ryo Saeba is a superb shooter and private investigator who also happens to be a playboy. He joins the investigation into the murder of his former colleague with his sister, which reveals some serious truths that shake his life.

Suzuki began his career as a model before quickly transitioning to acting, making his debut in 2007 with a tiny part in 'Seito Shokun!'.

He made his acting debut in 2013 with 'Hanako to An, which received a 24% rating.

Suzuki has also voiced Buzz Lightyear in the Japanese version of the 2022 film 'Lightyear.'

His other acting credits include 'The Blood of Wolves II,' 'Tokyo MER,' 'Segodon,' and 'Hentai Kamen: The Abnormal Crisis,' among others.

Misato Morita portrays Kaori Makimura, the sister of Ryo Saeba's colleague, Hideyuki Makimura (Masanobu Andô) in the movie.

Makimura teams up with Ryo in the hopes of uncovering the truth behind her brother's tragic death.

Misato Morita, born on September 13, 1996, in Kanagawa, made her acting debut in 2013 with the film 'The Sacrifice Dilemma.'

Since then, the young actress has established a diversified acting career, appearing in a variety of acting productions like 'Tsumari suki tte iitainda kedo,' 'If My Wife Becomes an Elementary School Student,' 'Tsukuritai Onna to Tabetai Onna' and others.

Masanobu Andô as Hideyuki Makimura

Masanobu Andô, most renowned for his acting skills in 'Sukiyaki Western Djang', will portray Hideyuki Makimura in the series.

Although little is known about Makimura, its established that he was Ryo Saeba's companion and the brother of Hideyuki Makimura.

Andô made his acting debut in 1993 with 'Rex: Kyôryû monogatari' and has since carved out a reputation for himself in the Japanese entertainment business.

His other notable work credits include, 'Battle Royale,' 'Kids Return,' 'Tokyo 10+01' and others.

Fumino Kimura, a popular Japanese actress, will play the character Saeko Nogami in the film.

Although details about her character are still unknown, it is reasonable to conclude that she plays an important role in the film, as demonstrated by the movie's trailer.

Kimura, who was born on October 19, 1987, made her acting debut in 2006 with 'Kaze no daddu,' and has since earned 82 acting credits, with 'City Hunter' ensuring that her notoriety will soar through the rooftops.

Ayame Misaki as Tsukino Seta

Ayame Misaki, a talented Japanese actress, is expected to portray Tsukino Seta in the film.

Misaki, born Tsuzaki Ayame in Kobe, began her career in the entertainment business as a gravure model and variety show participant before moving on to acting.

She made her debut appearance in front of the camera in 2007 with 'Maiko haaaan!!!'

Her other major acting credits include 'Happening Seizonsya 0,' 'Bungô: Sasayaka na yokubô,' and 'Toire no Hanako-san: Shin Gekijôban'.

Tetta Sugimoto as Akitaka Itô

Tetta Sugimoto is slated to play Akitaka Itô in the movie. The actor, well known for his role in 'Departures,' made his acting debut in 'White Snake Enchantment' in 1983 and has an incredible 206 performing credits to his acting credits.

His other acting ventures include, 'Space Battleship Yamato,' 'Night People,' 'Burakku Posutoman' and 'Matching' among others.
