Who is Lee Collinson? 'America's Got Talent' Season 17 star competed on British show 'Little Mix The Search'

One of the performers hoping to sweep off the judges' and audiences' feet with his angelic voice is 21-year-old singer Lee Collinson from England, who performed before Little Mix. Who is Lee Collinson?
Lee Collinson is a 21-year-old musician from Southampton, England. In the trailer clip for 'AGT' Season 17, we see Lee and the judges holding a phone and talking to his mother. This usually means one of the two things- the judges absolutely loved his performance or were consoling Lee and his mother following an unsuccessful audition. We will have to watch the premiere to figure out why the judges called his mother.
Irrespective of how things pan out for Lee on the NBC show, he already appears to be seriously working on becoming a huge star. 'AGT' isn't Lee's first stint on a talent hunt show. Back home in Britain, Lee appeared on a show called 'Little Mix The Search'. The BBC One show which aired from September 2020 to November 2020, featured the members of popular girl band Little Mix judging the singing competition show to discover talented new singers and pair them into groups to compete on the show. The winning group would get an opportunity to perform with Little Mix during their Confetti Tour.
Lee was teamed up with fellow competitors Kaci Brookz, Adam Harison, Talis Eros, and Zeekay, as part of their group New Priority. Sadly, New Priority was eliminated during the semi-finals round. After his stint on the show, Lee released his first music video 'I Know' in November 2021. Lee also regularly posts clips of himself performing various covers to his 23,800 followers on Instagram. He took to his Instagram to share the big news of his appearance on 'AGT' Season 17. He wrote, "You have no idea how hard it’s Been keeping my mouth shut 😂
