Who is Warren Schabusiness? Taylor Schabusiness' husband supports her from prison as she faces trial for killing lover
GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN: Taylor Schabusiness, a Wisconsin woman who has been charged with brutally murdering her lover in February 2022, is once again making news for her bizarre case.
Schabusiness, 25, is standing trial in the death of Shad Thyrion, 24, whose decapitated head and genitals were found inside a bucket at his mother’s home on 23 February 2022. Thyrion's violent death horrified the entire country, and his followers are now eager to learn more about his killer - a wife and mother of one who was seen smirking in court as witnesses recounted gruesome details about the murder.
Warren Schabusiness, Taylor's husband, was already in jail when Thyrion was allegedly killed by his wife. He has frequently spoken out about his situation on social media. He posted on Facebook in February 2023, "I'm currently locked up on federal charges because I was framed. I beat a Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine charge and plead to a possession with intent to deliver which is the best deal I could get."
Who is Warren Schabusiness?
Warren and Taylor have been together since 2017. The couple shares one child together. According to Warren's Facebook posts, he was already in jail when his wife allegedly murdered Thyrion. In one of the posts, he said, "Just know ill be out by the January of 2024 but possibly November or December of this year. So plan on Warren Schabusiness to be out soon ... now you know a little more about Warren and trust me come my release there will be lots more to know about myself and my wife."
Despite Warren's support, Taylor still faces first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and third-degree sexual assault. She was arrested on February 23, 2022, in connection with Thyrion's murder probe. They were allegedly involved in an affair and they had spent the day before he died consuming meth. Police launched an investigation into Thyrion's death after his mother Tara Pakanich discovered his severed head in a pail in her basement.
'I just want my wife to get help'
Taylor has also spoken about his wife, writing in February 2023, "My wife may be locked up for a long time/ if not life, but what the world/ community don't understand is, my release date is soon... Either way my prayers go out to my wife Taylor Schabusiness, she needs help mentally, brown county jail and the brown county circuit courts are failing at understanding this, nor do they even care. Yes what she is being accussed of is serious, but this doesnt change the fact that she still has rights and she still has family/people that love her no matter what her situation might be. hopefully soon the courts/jail will realize she needs help."
In the end, he said, "I just want my wife to get help, professional help, because its what she deserves. like i said my prayers go out to my wife, i love her more then anything in this world and this will never change no matter what."
Taylor pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity on July 6, 2022. Her murder trial began at the Brown County courthouse on Monday, July 24, 2023. First-degree intentional homicide in Wisconsin is punishable by life in prison, according to the state legislature, as per The Sun.
