LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Prosecutors reported that a man from Southern California, who they believe is associated with a violent white supremacist organization, was detained on meth and ammunition charges on Thursday. As a convicted felon, Ryan Scott Bradford, 34, of the Los Angeles neighbourhood of Reseda, is not allowed to possess firearms or ammunition, the US Attorney's Office in Los Angeles announced on Friday.
According to the prosecutor's office, police searched his home on Thursday after he advocated for 'horrific acts of violence" against Jews online and claimed that he could create guns at home using a 3D printer. According to the prosecution, Bradford is accused of conspiring to distribute methamphetamine and having weapons in his possession while a felon.
The search turned up an improvised explosive device, according to US Attorney Martin Estrada, who also claimed it looked he was manufacturing weapons.
"As alleged, this convicted felon affiliated with a violent white supremacist group who espouses horrific acts of violence against Jews appears to be manufacturing firearms and possessing an improvised explosive device," said Estrada.
“The potential danger to the community cannot be overstated," stated Estrada. The situation, he claimed, is still being looked into, as per reports.

2012 saw his burglary conviction, according to the US Attorney's Office. An improvised explosive device and more than 100 rounds of ammunition were discovered by police at his residence, according to a Drug Enforcement Administration agent's affidavit included in a criminal complaint, as reported by NBC.
Nazi literature, gun parts, two "auto sears," and five "switches," all of which were created using a 3D printer, according to the prosecution, were also discovered. The gadgets let semi-automatic weapons fire entirely automatically, much like a machine gun. He allegedly sent communications online from January 2021 to January 2023 discussing the use of 3-D printed weapons and violence against Jews.
According to the DEA affidavit, Bradford made statements in 2022 on Telegram channels such "White Lives Matter USA California" and "14 Words" in which he threatened to kill Jews or encouraged others to do the same.

On Friday, the case did not appear to be included in online court records, and it was unclear whether Bradford had a lawyer who could represent him. Bradford faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison for the narcotics accusation and a maximum sentence of 15 years for the ammunition charge, according to the prosecution.
