Who is Reginald Robertson? Georgia mom-of-3 Tiffany Foster's fiance charged with murder 2 years after her disappearance
NEWNAN, GEORGIA: The fiance of a Georgia mother of three who mysteriously vanished two years ago has been charged with murder in connection with her presumed death, according to multiple news outlets. As per the Coweta County Sheriff's Office, Reginald Roderick Robertson is charged with felony murder, malice murder, concealing the death of another, rape, kidnapping, false imprisonment, forgery, financial transaction card theft, and financial transaction card fraud.
It's unclear whether Roberston has entered a plea or retained counsel to speak on his behalf. His fiancee Tiffany Foster, 35, vanished from her Newnan, Georgia, home on March 1, 2021, according to previous reports.
Foster's disappearance
Foster's body has yet to be recovered, but Sheriff's Office officials say there is enough evidence to assume she is dead, according to news outlets. The Sheriff's Office said, as per 11 Alive, "There are other avenues and leads still in progress that may also be released at a later date." Tiffany's sister, Kimberly Bryan, told People in 2021 that the mother of three did not show up for her college class or work the day she went missing. She even missed a prepaid flight to Texas on March 11, 2021, where she was supposed to visit a friend.
Bryan described her sister's behavior as unusual in the days leading up to her disappearance. Foster's 2020 Nissan Altima was discovered in a parking lot in College Park, Georgia, seven days after she sent her last text message to her mother. Her credit card and purse were discovered in her vehicle, but her cell phone was not.
Who is Reginald Robertson?
Robertson, Foster's fiance, was charged with theft on April 8, 2021, for allegedly moving her car after she was reported missing. Then, on April 20, 2021, he was charged with kidnapping Tiffany in connection to an alleged incident in November 2020. According to NBC News, Robertson has been held without bond since then and is awaiting trial on the initial charges. He has pleaded not guilty to both counts.
'She just didn't walk off'
Kimberly Bryan stated in 2021 that she wished to learn more about her sister's disappearance. "I just want people to know she just didn't walk off. Something had to have happened because that's not her character to just abandon her family, her kids, and her responsibilities."
