ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Sherri Keenan, a resident of Georgia, has been tirelessly searching for her daughter, Morgan Bauer, who went missing over seven years ago. In a recent development, the FBI uncovered potential new evidence related to the perplexing case of the 19-year-old's disappearance.
The FBI's attention turned to a home on the outskirts of Atlanta, reportedly linked to the last known sighting of Morgan. An Instagram video captured her at a local park where a man seemed to be following her, a mere ten-minute walk from the property that was subsequently raided.
Who is Morgan Bauer's mom?
Sherri, Morgan's mother, fondly described her charismatic and gentle-hearted daughter to The Sun. "She was beautiful and funny, and her laugh could just completely take you away. She was kind." After seven long years of uncertainty, Sherri shared her struggle to reconcile herself with the harsh reality. “I have a lot of people ask me what I think. In this case, it’s just really hard because I want to hold on to hope. I can’t imagine. I can’t imagine her not being here. I can’t imagine living without her. I can’t imagine being okay with all of this. I just can’t imagine figuring out how to live with it sometimes," she said.
Morgan's disappearance occurred in late February 2016, shortly after she moved to the city. At the time, she was working as a dancer at a local club while she looked for a place to live. She was last seen walking in Porterdale Yellow River Park on February 26, 2016, in a mysterious video posted on Instagram, where a man seemed to be following her. “This changes the entire timeline of events,” her mother said earlier this year. “It also changes the last person known to have seen Morgan.”
'She’s never going to give up looking for her daughter!'
In a recent development, the FBI, along with local police, executed a search warrant at a property on South Broad Street in Porterdale. Although specific details remain undisclosed, the raid was based on credible information and evidence gathered during the ongoing investigation.
Sherri's unwavering friend, Kasey McClure, emphasized that Sherri will continue her relentless pursuit to find her daughter.
“She’s not sure what’s going to come from this investigation, she’s not sure if that’s her daughter, she’s not sure of what they found because it’s so hush-hush. She’s mostly wanting people to know that she’s never going to give up looking for her daughter, and she has not through the 7 1/2 years. She’s been out there searching and constantly keeping her story alive," she told The Sun.
