MIAMI, FLORIDA: A person who was on a Caribbean cruise was taken into custody after a concealed camera containing footage of multiple individuals, including minors, was discovered in a public bathroom, authorities confirmed. Court records show that Jeremy Froias was apprehended in Puerto Rico on Wednesday, May 3, and was reportedly charged with video voyeurism and attempted possession of child exploitation material.

Froias boarded Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas in Miami on April 29 for a seven-day tour that was scheduled to end in the Bahamas, Sint Maarten, Puerto Rico, and then back to Miami on Saturday, May 6. According to officials, Froias allegedly placed a hidden Wi-Fi camera in a public restroom on the top deck of the ship, a day after the voyage began. The restroom was located between a surfing simulator and a bar. One day later, a passenger noticed the camera and informed the ship's crew. It is believed that more than 150 passengers, including 40 children, were allegedly filmed using the bathroom and changing their swimsuits, as reported by Daily Mail
