Who is Eva Le Queen? 'RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars' contestant ditches corporate career to become drag artist
MANILA, PHILIPPINES: 'RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars' Season 1 star Eva Le Queen is all set to bring glamor and talent to the ultimate Olympics of Drags. Eva originally hails from the Philippines but moved to Singapore to achieve her professional goals.
She lived in Singapore for eight years and worked as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW). However, she later realized her passion for becoming a drag artist and started working in the corporate during the day and as a drag queen at night. Eva then participated in Singapore's Drag It Out All-Stars competition with zero experience and ended up grabbing first runner-up.
Eva soon ditched her well-established professional corporate career to become a drag artist. She returned to the Philippines in 2019 and became a performer and drag hostess at Nectar Bar. She went on to participate in 'Drag Race Philippines' Season 1 and landed in fourth place.

'RuPaul's Drag Race' star Eva Le Queen is the founder, CEO and matriarch of 'Drag Playhouse PH'. She established the group during the coronavirus pandemic to uplift and support the local drag queens. 'Drag Race Philippines' Season 1 alums Marina Summers and Prince co-founded Drag Playhouse PH, with Brigiding and Viñas Deluxe on-board members.
She has provided multiple spotlight and opportunities for content and events to the Filipino drag.
Eva's foundation was a part of the KeepDragAlive movement during the pandemic and she is still continuing it. She has expanded her association to bring drag to more people through drag branches, drag merienda and more.
Eva Le Queen to represent the Asian community in 'RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars'
'RuPaul's Drag Race' star Eva Le Queen is notably the only queen to represent the Asian community on the Paramount+ show. She has claimed in the upcoming show's profile, "I came here for Global domin-Asian." Eva has been teasing her representation widely on social media.
Additionally, Eva reflected on Asian representation in a recent interview, "I'm the only Asian representation in that bunch and that is a lot of pressure, I'm telling you!" Paramount+ show drag queen added, "This year has been an amazing year for Asian drag queens. It's time for Asian queens to be part of the Hall of Fame."
