‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ actor Christopher Meloni tied the knot with Sherman Williams in 1995 and shared two children, Sophia and Dante.
Meloni’s wife, Williams, is a production designer and art director, who whilst her job might differ from her husband’s, their career both showcase their love for art.

In an interview with People, Meloni spoke about his wife and said, “It's her patience with me, and I really mean that. She's allowed me to grow at my speed because she's always been more mature and more level-headed in many ways.”

Apart from being Olivia Benson on screen when it comes to ‘Law & Order: SVU,’ Mariska Hargitay shares a special bond with Christopher Meloni and his family. Meloni and his wife welcomed their first child Sophia in 2001, and Hargitay was crowned the role of her godmother.
Hargitay has also shared her remarks on the relationship between Meloni and Sherman Williams, in addition to what being a godmother meant to her. In an interview with People, Hargitay said, “The birth of his first child and being privy to his amazing, solid relationship with his wife, before I had that for myself.”
She added, “I think that Chris and Sherman played a really big role for me, to see this really stable couple that loved each other.”
