Who is Ceaser Curtis? Man who staged ex-wife's disappearance and pleaded for help to find her charged with murder
MUNICE, INDIANA: Ceaser Curtis a man who acted worried about his ex-wife on social media is now charged with her murder.
Ceaser Curtis, 50, was arrested after the body of Marcia Curtis, 46, was found outside an abandoned mobile home on September 1.
She had been missing since September 1, when she left her job at FCC, a clutch-making company in Portland, Indiana. Before her remains were discovered.
How did Ceaser Curtis fake Marcia Curtis' disappearance?
Ceaser Curtis participated in the search efforts shared photos of her and asked his Facebook friends to contact the police if they had seen her.
“If any of my friends on my Facebook has seen or heard from my ex-wife her name is Marcia Curtis she has been missing since Friday 9/1/23 please contact the police," Ceaser Curtis wrote on Facebook on September 9, also sharing photos.
He further wrote, She was last seen wearing the FCC uniform blue and white we all r worried about her so please let someone know if u have seen her thank you."
He also reposted a message from Marcia Curtis’ daughter, Brittney Ratfliff, who said she was hoping it was all a bad dream.
“I’ve been dreading this post hoping it’s all a bad dream, unfortunately, it’s not a dream but my reality … My Mom Is Missing,” Brittney Ratfliff wrote.
“She has been missing Since September 1st (Last Friday) she was last seen with her work uniform on (white uniform with FCC logo on it). She works in Portland .. if you have seen her, ran across her, or even may know where she may be. Please reach out!”
Did Ceaser Curtis threaten to kill Marcia Curtis?
The Law and Crime dug out Ceaser Curtis's extra posts which were shared on August 26 and 27.
The post which referred to a lack of trust claimed Marcia Curtis had slept with another man.
“Never let someone get too comfortable with disrespecting you,” on of the posts read.
How did Ceaser Curtis confess to killing Marcia Curtis?
Ceaser Curtis reportedly told investigators that he picked up Marcia Curtis from work the last day when she was seen alive.
They then allegedly got into a bad argument following which Curtis let her out of his vehicle starting he never saw her after that.
However, the police claim Ceaser Curtis admitted to his crime to a witness who is his "close friend." He told him, he beat Marcia "with a baseball bat" and left her there."
Was Ceaser Curtis stalking his ex-wife Marica Curtis?
Ceaser and Marcia as per the publication had divorced in March and soon after the suspect was charged with invasion of privacy which was in violation of the privacy order.
Marcia Curtis reportedly claimed in April that her ex-husband was harassing her with texts and calls and that someone had shot out the windows of her car.
The authorities also accused Ceaser Curtis of hiring a woman to murder Marcia Curtis with a metal pipe after they divorced.
However, when it couldn't be done he carried out the murder y himself.
