Adrean Miller Booth: Alabama deputy’s mom claims ‘truth will come out’ after he kills GF in murder-suicide
ORANGE BEACH, FLORIDA: Adrean Miller Booth is the mother of Kenneth Booth Jr, the Alabama deputy who killed his girlfriend and fellow dispatcher Alexis White, and then himself, during a beach vacation.
She posted a tribute to her son on Facebook, saying that he was “welcomed into heaven”.
Why is Kenneth Booth's mother talking about untrue statements?
She also claimed that there were “a LOT of false and untrue statements being said” about the incident, and that “the truth will come out”.
"In reference to the events please know there are a LOT of false and untrue statements being said and the truth will come out."
She added, "I will release a statement at a later time when it is appropriate but today is not that day."
She also asked for prayers.
Kenneth Booth Jr's mother slammed
However, her post faced backlash from a few people who criticized her for not mentioning White or expressing sympathy for her family.
One commenter asked, “Nothing about the young lady he killed?” Another wrote, "My deepest condolences go out to Lexie’s family."
One more harshly criticized the mom, writing, "Prayers for Alexis White. SAY HER NAME Adrean Miller Booth. The fact that you didn’t even mention her shows where he got his narcissism from. Here’s the truth for everyone that you said “will come out”.
Another one wrote, "He's burning in hell for eternity. You keep lying and you'll join him."
The majority of the users expressed sympathy and prayed for the "victims". "I don't know any of the families, but when I read about this horrible tragedy my heart broke," one wrote, adding, "My heart breaks today for the grieving families friends and our community. I am so sorry for everyone's loss and the lives affected."
How did the murder-suicide transpire?
The shooting took place around 2.45 am on September 8, 2023, at the Seaside Beach and Racquet Club in Orange Beach, where the couple was staying.
Orange Beach Police Chief Steve Brown as per Daily Mail confirmed that it was an apparent “murder-suicide” and said: “It’s a tragedy for both families involved.”
Booth, who was the K9 supervisor at the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office, pulled out his gun and fired multiple shots at White, who was a dispatcher. He then turned the weapon on himself.
White had started working at the Sheriff's office when she was only 16 years old and had a degree in criminal justice from Wallace State Community College.
White’s death was especially tragic for her family, as they had already lost her brother, Tarrant Jordan White, three years ago at the age of 25.
