LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Acolyte' Episode 8 dropped on Disney+, on July 16, 2024. The 'Star Wars' prequel show became synonymous with some jaw-dropping deaths that took the audience unaware in its eight-episode run.

Created by Leslye Headland, 'The Acolyte' was about the rise of the Dark Side at a time when the Jedi Order was at its peak. The show has been under continuous scrutiny for its inconsistencies with the 'Star Wars' canon and poor execution.

The show began with an unexpected death in the first episode and even in the final episode, it broke the hearts of its viewers with a heartbreaking death. Here's a look at some of the most heartbreaking deaths in the show.

Master Indara (Carrie Anne-Moss) was one of the most anticipated characters of the show when the promos came out however her stint in the show was short-lived as she became the first victim of Mae (Amandla Stenberg) on her quest for revenge against the Jedi.

She died in the first episode after a marvelous action sequence between her and Mae. Master Indara did make a return to the show in flashback episodes.

Master Torbin played by Dean Charles-Chapman was Master Indara's padawan who was responsible for the death of the witches at the coven. He lived a life of regret and did not face the High Council for the crimes he had committed.

He killed himself after Mae gave him the option to either consume poison or face the High Council. He decides to take the poison in Episode 2 but we learn the true reasons for his crimes in Episode 7 in a flashback episode where he appears again.

Wookie Jedi Kelnacca

Both the characters were important parts of the Jedi Temple and great allies of the Master Sol and their demise weakens the Jedis beyond repair.
