'A League of Their Own': Here's where the cast of 90s sports drama is now
"There's no crying in baseball." The line from Penny Marshall's 'A League of Their Own' would become so iconic that it would find a place in the American Film Institute's '100 Years... 100 Movie Quotes' in 2005.
Starring Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, and Madonna, among others, the fictionalized account of the early days of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League came out in 1992 to roaring critical and commercial success, raking in around $132 million worldwide. For those unaware, the AAGPBL was a professional women's baseball league that was in action from 1943 to 1954 and is considered to be a pioneer of sorts when it comes to professional league sports for women in America. An order for a reboot of the period sports comedy-drama was given by Amazon Prime Video in August 2020 and it was recently announced that the series of the same name is slated to premiere soon. With the release date nearing, let's take a look at where the cast of the hit 90s flick is right now.
