Where is Shadow Ace now? 'AGT' Season 18 semi-finalist returns to serenade ABC show judges in 'Fantasy League'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'America's Got Talent' Season 18 semi-finalist Shadow Ace aka Ace Philip Jose Galit is currently in his hometown Philippines. Although he seemingly didn't have any public events after his 'AGT' stint, he has been active on his social media.
He continues to entertain his fans and often shares his shadow puppetry videos on his social media. However, after he lost the Season 18 semi-finale, Shadow Ace returned to 'AGT: Fantasy League'.
He now looks forward to serenading the judges and fans with his impressive talent to earn their votes. However, he teased his appearance in the upcoming show on his social media.
He took to his Instagram and shared a series of photos of his upcoming act. In the photo, he created a shadow of a person with his fingers and a round surface with Howie Mandel's head.
Alongside the photos, he penned, "Oh! That's @howiemandel's head! 11 days to go! 🔥 @agt Fantasy League! #shadowace #agt #shadow."
'AGT' Season 18 semi-finalist Shadow Ace's 'inappropriate' act receives backlash
Shadow Ace earned viewers' votes and judges' buzzers to advance through the multiple rounds and reach the semi-finals. However, one of his performances was dubbed 'inappropriate' for children and received internet wrath.
The 'AGT' performer created a woman with his hands, seemingly showing her preparing for something. The woman was preparing to put on a strip show during the first half of Shadow Ace's act.
He then delivered what appeared to be a snippet of Miley Cryus' 'Wrecking Ball' music video, and created various animals and effects with his hands. The performance featured acts of other well-known singers as well.
While Shadow Ace's performance captivated both the live audience and the judges, multiple viewers opted to slam the performer.
Shadow Ace receives heartfelt homecoming bash after losing 'AGT' Season 18
Shadow Ace might have lost 'AGT' Season 18 but he definitely created a huge fan base. After he returned home, his relatives and friends gathered to congratulate him.
He took to his social media and shared a photo of himself with a poster of 'Welcome Back' and 'We Are So Proud Of You'. Alongside the photo, he wrote, "My mom made this for me when I arrived at the airport earlier.❤️🥹."
He added, "Sorry guys, I didn't make it to the finals. I was really close though. I was in the Top 3 but only 2 can move on to the finals." Ace continued, "But it is such an amazing experience to perform on the live shows! From our kitchen to @agt stage"
He further noted, "Some people said that I am not good for Vegas coz I only belong in parties. That's why I will do my best to be good enough for it 💪🏻 Thank you for all your love guys!"
'AGT: Fantasy League' premieres on Monday, January 1, 2024, at 8 pm ET on ABC.
