Where is Lenue Moore? NYPD hunts for man who shot dead neighbor and her friend while they were walking their dog
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Lenue Moore, 32, is being hunted by NYPD detectives for allegedly gunning down a woman and a man on September 29, while they were walking their dogs along a New York City street.
The victims were identified as Moore's next-door neighbor, Jacqueline Billini, 57, and Levaugh Harvin, 42. The pair were shot in the head in the presence of Harvin's two children.
A wanted poster is circulating around the neighborhood of Washington Heights as cops continue to look for the suspect.
The killing of Jacqueline Billini and Levaugh Harvin
Moore allegedly opened fire at Billini and Harvin when they were walking past Highbridge Park along Edgecombe Avenue at around 6.30 pm. Both of them were pronounced dead at the scene.
Billini's pit bull Zeus was also fatally shot.
Leneu Moore's priors against Jacqueline Billini
Moore was arrested in April after he kicked Billini's door and attempted to bash her with a hammer, reports the Daily Mail.
The attack was captured on video, which showed Billini's relatives trying to shut the door while Moore kicked at it and shoved a hammer through the gap when it grew large enough.
Billini's arm broke after Moore threw his full weight on the door and it slammed into her, states court documents.
The incident took place because Moore was reportedly enraged by the barking coming from the three dogs in Billini's apartment.
He was arrested following the attack, but released on $5,000 bail after he was arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court.
Moore was later indicted over numerous charges including burglary and assault with a weapon with intent to injure.
Billini and her family were authorized protection by a judge. This forced Moore to move out of the apartment complex and in with a friend a few blocks away.
Jacqueline Billini continued to feel threatened by Leneu Moore
Her nephew Luis said that Billini was recently intimidated while on a walk with Zeus at night. Someone drove up to her and said, "You're going to die." Billini was unable to identify who it was.
Janet Santana, Bellini's friend, said that the other deceased, Harvin, had been accompanying her on walks over the last few weeks, acting as a sort of bodyguard.
"He was like family to her," she said.
On the night they were murdered, Billini was with Harvin as she was terrified of Moore, claimed her friends.
