Where is Katie Schneider? Teen still missing after a month as mom begs for help in finding 'shy' daughter
SARATOGA, CALIFORNIA: The family of Katie Schneider claims the teen's car has been located but she is still missing more than a month after she disappeared from her home in Saratoga, California.
As per the family posts on social media, the Santa Clara County Sheriff's office found her white Honda Accord but are still looking for the 17-year-old.
The latest information was published on Monday, but they stated that owing to the continuing investigation, they were unable to provide specifics regarding the discovery.
A month after her teenage daughter went missing without her phone, her distraught mother Nola Schneider has begged for assistance in finding her "shy", "introverted" daughter.
Where is Katie Schneider?
The 17-year-old Katie Schneider who stands 5 feet 5 inches tall, has straight blonde hair, blue eyes, and no communication with her family.
"As a family, we know Katie to be so much more than a pretty face," mentioned the frantic mother Nola. "Please reach out to us if you know anything that might suggest her whereabouts. Much love."
No identification, cash, or credit cards
Nola claimed her daughter went missing without having any identification, cash, or credit cards with her, and the family immediately called the police. "We think she didn't expect to be gone for long," she said.
"She left without informing us of her plans, and left her belongings behind, making it incredibly challenging for us to locate or establish communication with her."
She added, "I am missing my daughter so much. If you have any information that may be helpful please contact us."
License plate number- 8KLK251
Police started looking for the girl right after, and they have since released a picture of the white Honda with tinted windows that she was last seen driving. The number on the license plate is 8KLK251.
Katie was shown with her sister on a beach just days before she vanished in one of Nola's tragic Instagram posts about her lost daughter, as cited by Daily Mail.
'Please come home'
"We reported Katie's disappearance immediately to law enforcement and have subsequently followed their guidance and direction," she wrote on Saturday, adding "We continue to work closely with law enforcement and have delayed going public in part because we wished to honor their efforts to find Katie."
Nola went on and desperately wrote, "At the same time, because Katie is a shy, introverted child, we have tried to protect her privacy, and to do whatever we can to find her. Keep calling out to you...please come home...please show me where you are, my baby...."
