'Paradise' Season 2 kicks off right after the events of Season 1. Xavier's search for his wife, Dr. Teri Rodgers-Collins, leads him to Annie Clay (Shailene Woodley) and other survivors who have been left to fend for themselves on the surface since the doomsday event. Chaos ensues as the surface dwellers learn about the bunker and demand to be let in. In the trailer, Annie is seen asking Xavier about the bunker, and he replies, "It’s like before, only creepier. The longer we were down there, the more the seams began to show." This confirms that things aren't going so well inside either. Season 2 will see the billionaire and mastermind behind the bunker, Samantha Redmond, being forced to confront the consequences of her actions.
The trailer also introduces Thomas Doherty's character, Link, another survivor with an interesting backstory. In one scene, he is seen hugging Annie, and later speaks about the bunker, saying, "There’s something that nobody knows about, something dangerous," adding further mystery to the plot. The series regulars Brown, Julianne Nicholson, James Marsden, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Sara Shahi, Percy Daggs IV, and Aliyah Mastin are all set to return to uncover the secrets of the bunker and navigate some of the most pressing mysteries from Season 1. But what is the danger awaiting the group? Viewers can find out when 'Paradise' Season 2 premieres on Hulu and Disney+.
