When will 'A Million Little Things' Season 3 Episode 5 air? What to expect when show returns after winter break
ABC's hit 'A Million Little Things' is now on its winter break. After just four episodes, Season 3 went on a break till 2021 and will return exactly where it left off. In the winter finale episode, each of the characters was offered a new chapter in their lives — but more importantly, the promo which was aired by the network at the end of the episode teased an intense Season 3 going forward.
Whether it is Gary Mendez (James Roday Rodriguez), Maggie Bloom (Allison Miller) and Darcy Cooper's (Floriana Lima) love triangle or Eddie Saville (David Giuntoli) and his struggle with addiction and relationship with wife Katherine (Grace Park), we can't wait for what is coming in Season 3.
It is confirmed that Dakota (Anna Akana) will be making a comeback in Eddie's storyline. This one definitely has to do with addiction and not their music relationship. Eddie's pain finally catches up with him and he argues with Dakota about 10 years of sobriety.
Elsewhere, it looks like Maggie is coming back to Boston and has a cancer scare. She is shown sitting in the doctor's office asking questions about the relapse and how bad it is. She is also shown meeting Gary. Fans of the show had long debated whether Maggie and Gary will patch things up and Darcy will be out of their way. Perhaps when the show returns, it will be heading in that direction. So it is safe to say that Maggie is back where she belongs.
The promo for 'A Million Little Things' Season 3 Episode 5 finally shows the use of Covid-19 in the storyline. Creator DJ Nash had said that the pandemic and the lockdown was going to affect the lives of the characters in one way or the other and here it is — Rome Howard's (Romany Malco) movie about depression, suicide and second chances is going to be stuck in the lockdown. But he promises to not go down without a fight.
