SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA: This week marks the return of the popular Lifetime series 'Married at First Sight', with this season's couples getting closer to the Decision Day. Over the course of its seasons, the show has already generated 14 couples who are still happily married and nine children. Will this season see the emergence of any more successful couples?

Based on a popular Danish format, 'MAFS' follows individuals who consent to take part in a radical experiment: each promises to wed a total stranger. A spiritualist, a relationship counselor, and a sociologist are among the specialists who utilize scientific methods to find each pair who wouldn't have met or spoken to one another until the wedding day. The subsequent episodes of the series detail the relationships, including honeymoons and other related married-life events. After a period of time, each couple must choose whether to stay together or part ways.

What happened in 'Married at First Sight' Season 15, Episode 15?

The couples of 'Married at First Sight' Season 15 are more than halfway through the social experiment, and some of them were starting to have second thoughts about the future in the previous week's episode titled 'Are You My Person?'. The four surviving partners are struggling, whether it's due to activities taking place behind the scenes or fights they can't seem to escape.

Following a game of dodgeball, Miguel and Lindy continue where the previous episode left off by talking to their fellow players about their worries about one another and their hopes for the future of their marriage. They both basically concur in their separate chats that a compromise is necessary, but who will budge? As the couples pack up and depart from their retreat, Krysten confides in Mitch that she feels awful about the conflict between Lindy and Miguel and that the weekend spent together has given her greater faith in her own relationship.

When they return home, Mitch reveals that Krysten was his favorite retreat experience and discusses his plans for an upcoming business convention that will keep him away from production for a few days. Even though Krysten is a little concerned about him leaving so soon into their marriage, he believes it will be beneficial for fostering the longing brought on by absence.

The episode shows that Lindy and Miguel are still going through a difficult time, yet things seem to improve when they get home and cuddle on the couch. Although he is relieved to learn that their problems can be resolved, his attitude doesn't make Lindy feel more at ease. Lindy joins Miguel in the gym as a sign of support for their efforts to get back together and despite not being the biggest fan, she cheers him on during his reps. He gives her an envelope containing a new medical insurance card as a surprise when they get home.

Lindy is overjoyed, but Miguel wants to know what else he can do to reassure her of his devotion. Lindy acknowledges that she wishes she felt more secure, and she blames Miguel's mood swings for keeping her on the fence. When they invite others around to play 'Dungeons and Dragons', their upswing is turned into a downward spiral. The true drama happens when they have separate talks with their pals even though the game is to some extent entertaining. When Lindy is venting, her friend advises her to put herself out there because she can't keep her emotions from Miguel, even if Lindy isn't sure he wants to see that part of her.

When they do meet again after their friends have left, Miguel becomes irritated. The two come to a deadlock as the show comes to a close. Can they get through the challenges in their way? Only time will tell.

Krysten and Mitch continue to communicate through video chat when Mitch is away at a business conference and become enthusiastic about an upcoming surf weekend. Mitch tells her about his conference and claims there were many women there when he gets home. When asked about his ring, Mitch takes it out of the glove compartment and puts it back on his finger, saying he didn't want to have to talk about the wedding because he was wearing it. Although Krysten appears to trust her husband, she finds it unsettling that he doesn't seem concerned about taking off the ring. When they arrive at the beach, Krysten's negative emotions vanish as she chats about their relationship's development while watching Mitch surf with their dog Luna.

Stacia invites Nate to her home, where they intend to settle after Decision Day, and she makes it clear what she expects in terms of cleanliness. Stacia says she'd teach them not to be messy when Nate inquires about her opinion of messy children, but they don't seem to be able to come to an understanding. Nate is nonetheless eager to move in as he just hopes Stacia would be able to recognize it as their house rather than simply hers. His worries are validated when they visit a hardware store and discuss bidets, cabinet handles, and knobs, obviously having different opinions and preferences. Stacia made it clear a few times that she prefers the items in her home over "theirs."

Nate tries to make a pleasant date for them while hiking by creating tipsy guacamole, so he doesn't let it get him too sad. As they converse, the subject of children comes up once more, and Stacia says she wants to be a fun parent who travels. Nate disagrees and believes that traveling with a child won't be enjoyable or practical till they are three or older. Stacia disagrees, and the argument persists until they go home. She tries to convince him that his idea of fun parents is irresponsible, urging him to take into account her lifestyle and recognize that she is an adult. It's obvious that this couple isn't prepared for a baby in the coming weeks, regardless of who the immature party is here.

This episode is largely focused on Justin's decision to give up Mya, the pet dog he boarded earlier in the season after it got into an altercation with Alexis' dog. He arrives home after picking up Mya to see Chris, who has agreed to take the dog in. The knowledge that Mya loves Chris, fortunately for Justin, doesn't make giving her away any simpler. When they are eventually left alone, Justin says that he hopes Alexis is aware of the sacrifice he's just made. Alexis joins him in saying farewell at home. Alexis also wants Justin to know that even though he did it for her, she doesn't want him to hold it against her.

When they get together with Nate and Stacia for a workout, Justin expresses his worries to Nate about Alexis' lack of commitment. Nate feels Alexis is immature for not responding directly to Justin's question concerning her whereabouts. When they reunite with Mitch and Krysten later in the episode, the two start to discuss some of these difficulties, with Justin revealing that he wants her validation and that he doesn't think 90% certainty is enough. Like Justin, Krysten says she needs confirmation from Mitch to continue after Decision Day, but she is aware that he won't say anything unless he truly means it.
