LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: From real life to reel life, Rob Lowe and John Owen Lowe are set to bring their dad-son chemistry on screens in a new Netflix special, 'Unstable'. The show was announced in April 2022 when Netflix revealed that it is working on a scripted comedy show featuring and created by Rob and John Owen and Victor Fresco. The story of this comedy is said to be inspired by John's social media activity with his father. The dynamic father and son duo often seem to engage in online banters with John trolling his dad about his pictures on Instagram.

Rob Lowe has quite a rap sheet as an actor, delivering stunning performances in popular films like 'Tommy Boy', 'The West Wing', 'Wayne's World', 'Parks and Recreation' and many more. Netflix was very excited to take on this project with the creators. “The three of them — and their wildly funny, smart sensibilities — are a perfect fit for our growing slate of scripted comedies,” said Tracey Pakosta, Netflix's Head of Comedy Tracey Pakosta.
