What is the thrilling plot of 'The Pope's Exorcist' (2023)
Father Gabriele Amorth, the Chief Exorcist of Vatican, faces a panel of his peers who are questioning him about a case that ended tragically. However, Amorth is unfazed and tells them that the case in question was not an exorcism, and the majority of his cases were not related to demonic possession but were referred to doctors and psychiatrists. Only 2% of his cases were "evil" and required his skills as an exorcist. In the movie, Amorth reports directly to the Pope and is assigned a particularly challenging case where a boy is possessed by a powerful demon that demands Amorth be brought to him. One of the most terrifying scenes in the trailer shows the boy vomiting a dead bird. In the process of saving the boy, he uncovers an ancient chilling conspiracy that the Vatican has been trying to hide.
The movie releases on April 14. While you wait for the catch this horror masterpiece, you can check out the trailer below.
