Created by Rian Johnson, the Peacock series is an inverted detective story that primarily focuses on a casino worker named Charlie Cale (Natasha Lyonne) who is on the run after exposing the owner of a big casino. She has a nice gift of finding whether the person standing in front of her is telling the truth or not and that puts her in a lot of danger because she never shies away from speaking the truth. As soon as she reaches a place to get her car fixed, she soon finds out that a young man has been murdered and the blame is being put on the wrong person. So, she uses her special power to get to know who is lying and solve the murder mystery.
