LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Lucky Hank', a new drama brought up by AMC, is dropping soon. The series is slated for eight episodes with a run time of 40 to 60 minutes. Once the premiere is out, each new episode will release weekly. The AMC drama includes big names behind cameras. Its showrunners are Aaron Zelman and Paul Lieberstein. 'Lucky Hank' executive producers are Oscar winners Peter Farelly and Mark Johnson. The lead actor is also an executive producer of the show.

'Lucky Hank' previously titled 'Straight Man' is based on the book written by Richard Russo by the same name. The story is about William Henry “Hank” Devereaux Jr, chairman of the English department in the fictional Railton College. For the lead, Bob Odenkirk is returning to AMC. The new series marks Odenkirk's third project with the network. Before 'Lucky Hank', the actor starred in 'Breaking Bad' and 'Better Call Saul'.
