'Ganglands' is one among many of Netflix's highly-acclaimed heist-genre shows. The series has a star cast including Tracy Gotoas as Liana, Sofia Lesaffre as Shaïnez and Sami Bouajila as Mehdi. Much like 'Money Heist' and any other heist-genre movies, this show is known for its raw and unflinching portrayal of violence.

This series is created by Hamid Hlioua and Julien Leclercq. Based on the 2015 film, 'The Crew', which was directed by Leclercq, 'Ganglanders' is much the same as the movie. Season 1 premiered on September 21, 2021. The show follows Medhi, a qualified robber, and Liana, an apprentice thief, getting involved in a turf war between drug dealers.
