NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Lenue Moore, 31, has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting on September 29 that claimed the lives of a man, woman, and dog in Manhattan. Moore has been charged with murder, criminal possession of a weapon, aggravated criminal contempt, and aggravated cruelty to animals.

US Marshals caught the suspect in Brooklyn after he was on the run for nearly a month, reported the New York Post. He is accused of killing Jackie Billini, Levaughn Harvin, and Billini’s pit bull Zeus in Washington Heights in September.

Lenue Moore had an alleged vendetta against 57-year-old Billini and her dogs

The suspect had previously complained about the barking of Billini's dogs inside the apartment building where they both once lived.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said at a press conference, "She had difficulty with him based on noise complaints from the dog. He committed a burglary of her apartment in which he broke her arm and beat another female companion.”

According to prosecutors, Moore violently kicked in the door to Billini’s apartment and proceeded to attack her and others on April 11. During that incident, he allegedly beat a man with a hammer and broke Billini’s arm when he forced her door open. He was arrested and then released, as the judge set his bail at $5,000 cash or partially-secured bond.

Jackie Billini feared for her life after Lenue Moore’s release

She asked her friend Harvin to accompany her while she walked her dog as she was afraid, stated the neighbors. Billini was granted an order of protection that banned Moore from contacting or approaching her, but that apparently failed to stop him.

Investigators stated that Moore allegedly tracked Billini while she was walking her dog with Harvin in the evening, and shot them dead outside Highbridge Park, near West 165th Street and Edgecombe Avenue.

Jackie Billini's brother calls for the death penalty for Lenue Moore

Billini's brother and nephew are of the opinion that Moore should have never been initially released from jail, reported ABC7.

"I want the death penalty, that's all I want. That's all I want," said the victim's brother Jose Billini.

The family told the news outlet that Billini will always be remembered for her big heart and community work.
