It's time to bid farewell to one of the most loved streaming platforms, Hulu. Launched in 2007, Hulu is owned by Disney, which announced last year that the service would no longer operate as a standalone app and would instead be integrated into Disney+. However, in a surprising turn of events, Nintendo has confirmed the first specific deadline in Hulu's phase-out on its official website, stating, "The Hulu app is no longer available in the Nintendo Switch eShop with support for the application ending on February 5, 2026," as per MassLive. So, before the streaming platform bids farewell, here are three of the best movies you should watch while you still can.

Palm Springs

Set against the backdrop of a time loop, 'Palm Springs' works like magic. As the movie opens with a wedding, everything looks normal, but soon things start to unravel when Nyles (Andy Samberg) appears to be very nonchalant. The story then introduces Sarah (Cristin Milioti), a gloomy maid of honor attending her sister's wedding, who unexpectedly hooks up with Nyles, as per Parade.

What begins as a familiar rom-com setup quickly takes a surreal turn when Sarah discovers that Nyles is trapped in a time loop, forced to relive the same wedding day endlessly, and that she, too, has become stuck in the same cosmic predicament. With a stellar combination of sci-fi elements, sharp humor, offbeat romance, and an undercurrent of existential nihilism, the film delivers a fresh and surprisingly heartfelt take on love, meaning, and choosing connection in a seemingly meaningless loop.

Prey

If you are a fan of Predator movies, then you should definitely watch 'Prey'. Set in 1719, the movie takes place long before the events of the original 'Predator' films and serves as a chronological prequel to the franchise, according to Entertainment Weekly. The story centers on Naru (Amber Midthunder), a skilled Comanche medicine woman who dreams of proving herself as a formidable hunter like her brother.

When she witnesses a mysterious Predator arriving on the Great Plains, Naru views it as a threat to her people and sets out to track and eliminate the alien invader. Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, the film stands out for its predominantly Indigenous cast and grounded, survival-driven approach to the franchise, with Dane DiLiegro physically portraying the Predator under demanding conditions.

Love & Other Drugs

'Love & Other Drugs' is a classic tale of a bad boy who falls in love with a good girl, and then he sees life in a different light. But in this movie, the twist is quite heartbreaking. The movie stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Jamie, a confident pharmaceutical sales rep and serial womanizer whose carefree lifestyle is upended when he meets Anne Hathaway's Maggie, a witty and independent woman living with early-onset Parkinson's disease. What begins as a no-strings-attached affair slowly evolves into a meaningful relationship, pushing both to confront vulnerability, commitment, and the realities of living with illness.
