What is Wedfuly?

The concept of Wedfully essential helps people plan virtual weddings, from tech support to physical set and everything in between. The brand treats the entire Livestream like a production itself, from taking care of the onsite event to handling all the virtual backend work too.

As per the Wedfuly website -- "Wedfuly is working to dismantle the traditional wedding industry by removing financial, geographical, and health barriers—and allowing anyone, anywhere to get married with all of their loved ones in attendance. We are dedicated to creating an inclusive wedding experience for people of diverse cultures, races, identities, orientations, classes, sizes, abilities, and ages. We understand that each couple is unique, so we seek to create wedding experiences that honor, validate, and celebrate the diversity of people who come through our doors."

Who is the founder?

Caroline Creidenberg is the founder and CEO of Wedfuly. As per her LinkedIn, she was previously a Software Engineer with Nasdaq, prior to this, she was a Web/iOS Developer.
In a conversation with Galvanize, she spoke about what led her to start her company. "I started Wedfuly out of my own personal need to create a culture where I felt comfortable in an industry that was welcoming to someone like me. I struggled in previous roles as a female software engineer. It was hard for me to feel where I fit in and therefore it was hard for me to find my voice and grow in my role." she said.

"Virtual weddings, on the other hand, started out of a necessity during the pandemic. Back in March 2020, we experimentally did one virtual wedding on Zoom, and after some amazing press coverage, we were off to the races. Currently, Wedfuly helps couples throw interactive, engaging virtual weddings." she added.

What is the cost and where to buy Wedfuly from?

You can 'save the date' by reserving your date on the Wedfuly website. Reservation costs a flat rate of $200.

Where is Wedfuly now?

Wedfuly has been as busy as it gets during the pandemic, seeing that most couples are opting for virtual weddings in order to stay safe. As per their Instagram, the brand's MC, Kolby, recently hit a milestone of hosting 100 virtual weddings.

Who will steal the deal?

Mark Cuban might be the shark who takes the bait when it comes to Wedfuly, seeing that he works with AI which might be beneficial.
