With Covid-19 lockdowns having the best of primetime television, trust network channels to bring the already released best of worldwide content to their slate. Joining the list of many such already premiered shows, 'We Hunt Together' is a BBC drama coming to Showtime for the very first time this August. "A gripping twist on a classic cat-and-mouse story, the series explores the intoxication of sexual attraction and the dangerous power of emotional manipulation," teases the official synopsis. "As two conflicted detectives (Myles and Ceesay) track down a pair of deadly killers (Corfield and Ola), the series reveals how finding a volatile form of solace in another can have dire consequences." Enticing, right? Here are all the familiar faces you can expect to see on the show.

Hermione Corfield as Freddy

The character is described as a female version of Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock. She is charismatic with very high intelligence and is most likely a psychopath too. The 26-year-old Corfield Corfield is an English actress known for some pretty high profile movies like 'Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation' (2015), 'Rust Creek' (2018) and 'Star Wars: Episode VIII — The Last Jedi' (2017).

Dipo Ola as Baba

The vulnerable, somewhat compassionate, and mostly damaged former child soldier is layered and intense to unpack. Baba encounters Freddy and his world isn't the same. He wants to denounce violence heavily but there's an undeniable lust between him and Freddy, one that leads to all the murder and mayhem. Ola is most known for his works in 'Baghdad Central' (2020) and 'Inside No. 9' (2014).

Eve Myles as DS Lola Franks

As far as crime thrillers go, Lola is the most stereotypical female detective ever. The only thing unconventional about her is the relationship she strikes with fellow detective Jackson while working on a high profile murder case. Myles is best known for her roles in 'Torchwood' (2006), 'Keeping Faith' (2017) and 'Dragon Age II' (2011). She has been married to Bradley Freegard since 2013 and together they have two children.

Jackson and Lola's relationship builds when they are thrown in together to catch the killers. Jackson's history involves working in police anti-corruption, he also believes no one is entirely responsible for their actions, both of which annoys Lola to the core. Ceesay is most popularly known for his works in 'Free Fire' (2016), 'Eye in the Sky' (2015) and ''71' (2014).
